Thanks for the Big Bad Wolf spread. I tried it today and even though I'm just a beginner to Tarot reading, I think I found some insight. My cards - 1. Q of Swords, 2. X-The Wheel, 3. Nine of Swords, 4. 0-The Fool, 10 of Pentacles, 5. Princess of Cups, Princess of Wands, 6. King of Wands, 7. King of Cups. I think the Big Bad Wolf in this case is myself. Intensity, real but ending with new beginning coming. It is in the form of an attack to my sense of a loving, innocent, family oriented life. Right now that isn't the case in my life. A very close family member is on the "outs" with me. I can minimize the threat by meditating on the problem AND hoped for outcome and then getting busy doing something creative so I don't spend every minute thinking of the rift. I see my help coming from my best friend and husband who probably knows me even better than I know myself sometimes. I think the task after I have defeated the Wolf would be to realize that whatever the outcome, all is a learning, growing experience that will allow me to share experience with others. And to be accepting of the situation rather than trying to Force an outcome. Let me know if you think I'm on the right track. >K<
Hi Karen! The Q of Sw could be your own intensity. It could also be a sharp-tongued woman who has some agenda that you are not on board with. The type of attack (9 Sw) is definitely mental. Sounds like she is trying ratchet up your anxiety levels and feed on your fears. This could be in an effort to make you see things her way. The why has two cards (did you pull for clarification?) The Fool would indicate, to me, that you have taken steps to be your own person (the 10 of Pent tells me you are moving towards a career/community goal) that threatens this Q of Swords in your life.
Great reading from you! Thanks so much. I love seeing how these work for other people.
I am a beginner and just learning to read with playing cards- it is very intresting, I am learning using the kapherus system... if you visit his forum he has his system posted. I have no doubt that you will find it super intresting!!
